Competition for young social entrepreneurs in B12, B13 and B14

Flyer for competition for young social entrepreneurs

Change it! is a competition for young social entrepreneurs, and is being organised by Moseley Community Development Trust and Moseley Post Office.

The competition aims to help young people (aged 18–30) launch ventures that can change the neighbourhood where they live for the better. Entrants should live in Balsall Heath (B12), Moseley (B13) or Kings Heath (B14) and their business idea should benefit one or more of these neighbourhoods.

There’s a chance to win 12 months co-working membership (worth over £1,000) at the Moseley Exchange.

You can find out more at an event on 30 April 2014, starting 6pm at the Moseley Exchange, 147 Alcester Road, Moseley, B13 8JP.

In the meantime, visit moseleycdt.com/changeit to read more about the competition and download the guidance notes.

Meet your local policing team this Saturday 22 March 2014

Sergeant Tom O’Keefe and members of the local policing team will be at Kings Heath Baptist Church (opposite Asda) this Saturday, 22 March 2014 from 10.30am–1.30pm. They’ll be there to meet and discuss local initiatives available as part of a crime reduction community event.

Why not pop along and see what’s on offer; the team would love to see you there. Come and meet them, and collect some anti-theft number plate screws, purse bells (to deter bag dippers) or cost-price home security items.
