Going by the plan released yesterday, it’s the death knell for residents and children of Addison Road. The plans allow for no entry from the High Street past Valentine Road to any of the streets up to Addison Road on the East and then once in Addison Road, all streets to North will also be blocked off meaning that as a street to live in, it will become even more undesirable than it already is and totally unsafe to live in with all traffic diverted through it, including > 24 buses per hour during peak periods. There are currently no plans for any mitigations to compensate. I feel so sorry for residents as this is a disaster for them and their loved ones.
