Birmingham City Council Planning and Development have opened a consultation for a planning application at St Dunstan’s RC Church on Kingsfield Road. The proposal is for:
“Reordering works to include the demolition of the original linking porch between the church and the church hall and its replacement”
The above application was accepted by the Council on 24 April 2018. The Council are inviting comments on the application until 18 May 2018.

The local candidates standing for election to Birmingham City Council at the upcoming local government elections will be at a hustings event on Wednesday, 18 April 2018. The event starts at 7.30pm and takes place at Kings Heath Baptist Church hall (opposite Asda), 80 High Street, B14 7JZ. Come along to hear what the candidates have to say.
Owing to growing local concerns regarding crimes and community safety Moseley, Kings Heath and Brandwood Neighbourhood Forums invite you to our own Question Time on Wednesday 28 March at 7.30pm at Queensbridge School. Birmingham City Council Planning and Regeneration have opened a consultation on a proposal for land use at the rear of 154–174 Woodthorpe Road, Kings Heath. The proposal is for the “retention of sale and storage of vehicles, timber shed office building and two gates”.
The Council accepted the application on 17 January 2018 and are inviting comments from the public, preferably before 14 February 2018.

Fighting For Air, an air pollution documentary presented by Dr Xand van Tulleken, will be shown on BBC2 on Wednesday 10 January 2018 at 9pm.
Recorded with the help of local enthusiasts and volunteers in December 2017 for Kings Heath Clean Air Day, the programme investigates:
- how communities and experts in pollution science can work together to reduce air pollution on the High Street on a single day
- the effect of air pollution on the human body after being exposed to a typical city street
