Kings Heath Residents’ Forum Annual General Meeting 2019

Come and hear about the events and activities we’ve been involved with during 2018-2019, including:

  • Working with our councillors Lisa Trickett and Mike Leddy (who will be present)
  • Fighting for clean air in Kings Heath
  • Campaign to reopen Kings Heath train station

We welcome new members to join us, particularly to help with work on air pollution, traffic surveying and community engagement. If you’re interested in joining us, please come along to the meeting.

Planning consultation for 2 Drayton Road: Change of use to restaurant/cafe

Birmingham City Council Planning and Development have opened a consultation for a planning application at 2 Drayton Road (opposite Nationwide BS). The proposal is for:

“Part change of use of ground floor shop (Use Class A1) to restaurant/cafe (Use Class A3) and alterations to side elevation”

The above application was accepted by the Council on 7 August 2019. The Council are inviting comments on the application until 2 September 2019.

Planning consultation for Saint Dunstan’s RC Church

Birmingham City Council Planning and Development have opened a consultation for a planning application at St Dunstan’s RC Church on Kingsfield Road. The proposal is for:

“Reordering works to include the demolition of the original linking porch between the church and the church hall and its replacement”

The above application was accepted by the Council on 24 April 2018. The Council are inviting comments on the application until 18 May 2018.

Question Time with the Police Commissioner

Owing to growing local concerns regarding crimes and community safety Moseley, Kings Heath and Brandwood Neighbourhood Forums invite you to our own Question Time on Wednesday 28 March at 7.30pm at Queensbridge School.
